I’m Getting Married in the Morning….

Ok, I’m not really getting married….but if you know someone who will be heading down the aisle soon, you don’t want to miss this event!

Handmade at Homestead will be showcased at the Love Story Bridal Showcase next Sunday, March 27th, at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center!

What you may not know is that Handmade at Homestead has found its way into the wedding favor business. Recently, several brides have approached me with the idea of using our product, particularly our Louisiana-themed handmade products,  for wedding favors and we’ve gladly complied.  At the showcase, we will have samples of our Red Beans & Rice Lotion Bar, Sugar Cube Sugar Scrub, Sea Glass Soap, personalized lip balm, and more!

We will also be highlighting our “Beauty from the Kitchen” parties perfect for a unique bridal shower or bachelorette party!

We will be joined by the most fabulous merchants and service providers in the greater Baton Rouge area.  Brides can expect to see unique ideas that will make her big day magical, purchase beautifully hand crafted items, taste what the best Baton Rouge bakers and caterers have to offer, and enjoy a multitude of door prizes and one spectacular grand prize chance to win $25,000 to put towards her dream wedding.

Unique to the Love Story Bridal Showcase is an exclusive luncheon/mock reception featuring celebrity speaker Peggy Post, America’s leading authority on wedding etiquette.   Guests will be greeted by champagne and the wonderful string quartet, South Louisiana Wedding Music, before being struck by the awe of the Hilton’s grand Heidelberg Ballroom.  The luncheon will also feature current trends in floral arrangements by our friends at Fleur Du Jour and wedding cakes by Cake Goddess.

So if you or someone you know, has a wedding in her future, head downtown to the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center next Sunday. For more information on the event, please visit the event website, Love Story Bridal Showcase.
